ASCE will renovate its Headquarters' parking lot using LID practices to reduce outflow and to improve stormwater quality discharged to the watershed.  Pre- and post-construction monitoring to evaluate effectiveness, as well as data sharing with the profession, is an important aspect of the project.

The civil engineering profession is responsible for sustainable infrastructure solutions and for advancing the practice through information sharing.
