Communities
The ASCE Foundation supports many key ASCE communities as part of our mission to build a strong civil engineering profession. These communities span the industry and support civil engineers throughout their careers.
Students
The ASCE Foundation supports the next generation of civil engineers by funding students around the world. Through ASCE student programs, current and future civil engineering students are getting connected with their peers and mentors from across the globe while expanding their personal and professional skills.
Younger Members
ASCE’s Younger Members represent civil engineers through the early stages of their careers. The Foundation offers programs that help them grow as the next generation of leaders and professionals.
Institutes
The Foundation collaborates with ASCE’s nine Institutes to support various strategic initiatives. Donations to these initiatives help to hone the specialized skills and unique areas of expertise represented within the Institutes and their associated technical standards and areas of practice.
Global Communities
The Foundation collaborates with ASCE’s Global Geographic Services team and our Region 10 Leadership to support programming to encourage global involvement in ASCE activities. Donations to these programs facilitate a global exchange of knowledge, learning, and best practices that benefit members around the world and the communities they serve.
Younger Member Global Activities Fund
The Younger Member Global Activities Fund supports Younger Members in Region 10 in attending ASCE events. By providing opportunities for young international engineers to attend ASCE meetings and conferences, the fund promotes the sharing of global best practices, professional growth, and advances engineering knowledge for the benefit of communities around the world.

ASCE Open Research and Global Equity Fund
Donations to the ASCE Open Research and Global Equity Fund support researchers without funding by providing the option to choose open research through the waiver program. Research papers granted waivers will be published in the Society’s first fully open access journal ASCE OPEN: Multidisciplinary Journal of Civil Engineering.
Military Engineers
The Military Engineer Leadership Fund is an endowed fund designed to support collaboration between military and civilian engineers. By providing opportunities for young military engineers to attend ASCE meetings and conferences, the fund promotes the sharing of best practices, fosters professional growth, and advances engineering knowledge. These interactions strengthen the engineering profession and benefit both military and civilian engineers.
